Organic Farming Course
   
Duration : 3 days, 2 Nights
Frequency : Once a year or upon request
Costs : RM 1500 for Member; RM 1600 for non-Member (inclusive of resource materials, organic/natural food and accomodation)
Venue : Titi Eco Farm Resort, Jelebu, N.Sembilan
Target Groups : Converted as well as potential farmers, extension workers from government agencies or NGOs, organic food operators, organic compost/fertilizer manufacturer
Group Size : Minimum 10, Maximum 15 people

Course Objectives
  • To get an overview and have better understanding of good organic farming practices as well as its basic concept.
  • To familiarize participants with the concepts and principles of organic agriculture.
  • To impart theoretical and practical knowledge/techniques of organic production.
  • To create awareness of the hazards in the use of synthetic chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

 

Course Description
  • The course focuses on basic concepts & principles of Organic Farming practices, theoretical & practical approaches to demonstrate organic production techniques, such as soil & water conservation/crop management and pest management etc.
