Organic Kitchen Gardening Course

   
Duration : 2 days 1 Night
Frequency : 2 times per year or upon request
Costs : RM 300 for Member; RM 350 for non-Member (inclusive of farm tour, bread-making demonstration, healthy-ulam preparation, organic/natural food and accomodation)
Venue : Titi Eco Farm Resort, Jelebu, N.Sembilan
Target Groups : Anybody who is interested
Group Size: Minimum 10, Maximum 20 people

Course Objectives
  • To get an overview and have better understanding of good organic farming/gardening practices as well as its basic concept.
  • To impart practical knowledge regarding organic production to obtain safe and healthy food but also as a tool for personal development.
  • To encourage family participation & community interaction. The experiences & knowledge gained can also be extended to schools & communities at large.
  • To encourage participants to recycle kitchen/canteen/market & garden wastes.
  • To help those who wish to convert from conventional to organic gardening.
  • To share with people concerned about the overuse of agro-chemicals and the need for a clean and safe environment.

 

Course Description
  • The course includes theory and practical, illustrated with slides.

      410 Green Manuring
420 Raising Seedlings in Boxes and Pots
430 Transplanting
440 Compost and Liquid Fertilizer Making
